Dusk's Laws
General Rules
* Respect Dusk and what he says
* Respect his Queen as you would himself
* All members of herd must follow instructions
* Any visiting stallion that comes must state his business here within three days or he shall be forcibly driven away
Mares
* Any lone mare who wanders into these lands shall be claimed by Dusk
* No mare may leave the herd for any reason except for foaling or if Dusk allows her to leave
* Mares must protect themselves if a stallion besides Dusk comes - with the exception that a mare has been traded to that stallion
* No mare has any say in any trades she may be involved in
* If a mare gets traded to me for any amount of time, she will be kept as a full herd member
* Hostages will be excluded from the herd until proven trustworthy
* If a mare disobeys Dusk, she will be given a sharp nip and sent away to fend for herself for one (rl) week - nobody may talk to her
* If she disobeys Dusk again, she will be punished in any way he sees fit
* All mares have to choice to bare a foal for Dusk
Foals
* All foals that were not sired by Dusk will be kept for trading
* All colts leave at age two unless someone reserves him (unlikely)
* All fillies are kept to be traded - if they are not traded before age 3 then she will be let go to find her own herd to join
* If a foal disobeys Dusk, it will be excluded from the herd for one month, with it's mother
* If that same foal disobeys Dusk a second time, it will be punished in whichever way Dusk sees fit
Hierarchy
* The "King" is the highest ranking stallion. He is top dog here and makes all the laws - in this case, Dusk is King
* His Second is a colt or another stallion that is his second in command. He lives within the herd and cannot breed to any of Dusk mares
* The "Queen" is the King's lead mare. She is to be just as much respected as Dusk. She is the first mare to be bred in the breeding months
* Her Second is a mare or a filly that Dusk or His Queen has chosen to hlp lead. The Second helps the Queen with her foal and lives within the herd. She is the second mare he will breed to in the breeding months
* His Trinkets are all those mares Dusk holds in high esteem
* The Warriors are all the stallions/colts who are worthy of being heir after Dusk
* The Harlots are all the harem mares
* The Kin are all the foals in the lands - if they have a pink * next to it's name the foal is a girl. A blue * means a boy.
* The Traded are all those who are reserved by another stallion/mare, or those who are expected to come here resulting from another trade.
* The Rivals are all the enemies of this herd - they will be subject to theft and no trades offered by them will be accepted unless Dusk sees no harm in accepting
* The Hostages are all those come here from a trade - they will be kept here for one month until they are considered trustworthy OR will stay there until they are sent home (when the trade is over if it was a temporary trade)
* The Associates are all the allies and trading associates of Dusk/Darkness. They are to be accepted and will not be stolen from and are to be respected. All trades from them are to be accepted unless the trade is plain stupid
* The Second is Dusk's second-in-command. Unless He has an heir, his Second becomes King of these lands. His Second hosts his own herd on these lands, and has almost as much power as Dusk himself
* The Second's Lady is the Second's lead mare. She is to be just as much respected as the Second himself
Trades
* If you want to make a trade with Dusk, then PM me
* You may trade for mares, foals, breeding rights, land rights, etc.
* Any trades for a mare will most likely be rejected
* The trade must be fair - an eye for an eye
* If you want a filly, then don't wait for her to leave the herd - step up and reserve her.
... If you reserve a foal, then that foal will be considered Called For and cannot leave the herd, be claimed, be bred, or otherwise be touched by anyone other than he who reserved her - when she comes of age she will be sent over to the stallion who reserved her.
* If you want to trade for a mare it will cost more than for reserving a Filly
All trades must be run past Dusk beforehand to see if he is willing to make the trade. PM . Dusk, role player of Dusk, for details.
These laws are subject to change - I have the right to change them when and how I wish.
If you wish to ally with this herd, you must ask Dusk. Here are the rules of allies-
If you are an ally:
.... You may not steal from or fight with Dusk/Darkness.
.... Trades will be easier to make.
.... Dusk/Darkness will not steal from or fight with you.
.... You are welcome to stay or visit at any time so long as you do not touch any mares of this herd.
.... Dusk/Darkness will fight by your side in battle, or even fight for you if you are too hurt from previous fights.
.... You must return each of these favors!
If you are an enemy-
.... You may have more fights and thefts on your hands on Dusk part
.... Trades will be rejected every time, no exceptions
.... You will be killed if you lay hoof on these lands or mares
If you are neutral with Dusk-
.... He will not single you out
.... You are not welcome on these lands
.... Trades may not always be rejected, but neither will they always be welcomed with open arms
.... You will be killed if you make any move toward the mares of this herd unless a trade has been made
These Laws Are The Same As Darkness' Laws.
