Before the peace that you can sense now, there was fighting, it all began with Shifa. The two herds had always gotten along, but then came that day. The king and queen to the second herd had a son, whose name was Shifa. Shifa was evil, and wanted to do anything to make trouble. The king of the lands loved him so much that he tried hard to keep him in line though. Shifa wanted more then anything the daughter of the first herd, and he took her. She was a delicate Arabian filly, her beauty was unmatchable. Shifa raped and tortured her, eventually killing her. Her father became outraged, and tried to attack Shifa, who was protected by his own father. The first king became outraged to the point of hatred, and formed a strong herd to kill the second herd, his hatred fueling his actions.
They continued to fight, until they became fewer and fewer, until the day that there were barely any horses left. There was never peace, only fighting. Some horses wanted the peace once again, yet it would not be allowed, their hatred was so complete. And then came the final war, it went for days, horses that were not killed were injured severely. The horses that alive after that battle were underfed, hurt and worn down.
But there were two foals from the two different sides that did not believe in the war...Flame and Forever! they were the foals of the kings and queens of both sides, Flame a colt and Forever a filly. They were warned never to speak or associate with the other sides, but grew up knowing that that was wrong. They met once, and immediately fell in love, yet know that they were forbidden to do so. The war raged on, yet Flame and Forever met more then once and fell even deeper in love.
Then came the winter. There was almost no food, the winter raged on and on, all fighting stopped, the only fighting was to keep alive. It was not able to be, and almost all horses died in that winter. Flame and Forever stayed alive, partially because of their love for one another. The winter was still there, threatening even their death. When they were at the point of dying themselves, the first signs of spring came, and then the winter went away. Flame and Forever were the only horses still alive, the hatred and fighting were gone; never to be seen again. Now it is the days of summer, hope is in the air as horses come into the lands once again, filing it like it was before the fighting so long ago.
